Pastor Steve Lowe started his sermon with 1 Kings 17:17-24, the story of Elijah, the widow, and her son. The Lord heard Elijah's pleas, and the woman's dead son was made alive. 24 Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the Lord from your mouth is the truth.”
Steve continued with 2 Corinthians 3:16-18
16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
